Cocoa Crunch Milkshake
Each bite of Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Cocoa Crunch Cereal is perfectly chocolatey, splendidly sweet (without being altogether too sugary) with an easy, airy texture and just a faint hit of rice flour nuttiness. There’s a lot to love here, but our personal favorite thing about it is how it turns a whole bowl of milk (or non-dairy alternative) rich and chocolatey.
Because pouring a bowl of cereal doesn’t require a recipe, we’ve gone the dessert route here and paired it with two of our most chocolatey standbys: Trader Joe’s Ultra Chocolate Ice Cream and Trader Joe’s Midnight Moo Chocolate Flavored Syrup. Break out the blender and give it a whirl!
Coat the inside of two tall glasses with a few drizzles of chocolate syrup. Place in the freezer to chill.
Place cereal and milk in a bowl; refrigerate for 15 minutes to infuse. Add cereal and milk to a blender pitcher, along with 4 heaping scoops of ice cream. Blend until ingredients are fully incorporated.
Remove glasses from freezer and divide milkshake evenly among glasses. Garnish with chipped cream, chocolate syrup and cereal. Enjoy immediately.
